POSITION
The Business Development Director will be responsible for helping shapesolutions and selling programs solely for the latest BzzAgent product. The role will require substantial solution selling, consideration ofappropriate a la carte solutions, proposal development and long-termrelationship building.  Programs will be developed both for currentBzzAgent clients as well as new prospects, and will require deep knowledge ofdigital tools, a consultative approach and the ability to work with internalcross-functional teams to bring the concept to market.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Development Director duties will include the followingresponsibilities:

  • Work alongside the CEO and Sales & Marketing teams to deploy the go-to-market strategy
  • Develop a solution that fits with the client’s needs, using pre-structured pricing and package modules as well as including an assessment of any pre-existing implementations
  • Develop all aspects of proposals and present to potential partners
  • Spearhead term sheet and contract completion, through signature
  • Oversee partner success, including working closely to refine program to develop retained accounts
  • Focus on long-term relationship building

QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates will demonstrate successful experience with theresponsibilities detailed above, and will possess many if not all of thefollowing important traits:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit absolutely necessary to help build this new initiative inside of a successful business
  • 4 -10 years in sales or business development, with a specific focus on understanding both research and marketing digital toolsets
  • A successful track record of selling within the new media or social networking space
  • A hunger to succeed and the ability/desire to break down doors
  • The ability and flexibility to sell either inside or face-to-face, while managing complex sales cycle
  • Beyond stellar communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent creative proposal development capabilities
  • Excellent organizational ability with great attention to detail
  • Strong team player with experience collaborating across multiple teams

COMPENSATION
Compensation for this position will be competitive and commensurate with skillsand experience; compensation will include base salary, bonus opportunities, thepossibility of earned stock options, paid vacation, health, dental, 401(k) witha match, and many other perks!
