POSITION The Business Development Director will be responsible for helping shapesolutions and selling programs solely for the latest BzzAgent product. The role will require substantial solution selling, consideration ofappropriate a la carte solutions, proposal development and long-termrelationship building. Programs will be developed both for currentBzzAgent clients as well as new prospects, and will require deep knowledge ofdigital tools, a consultative approach and the ability to work with internalcross-functional teams to bring the concept to market.
RESPONSIBILITIES The Business Development Director duties will include the followingresponsibilities:
Work alongside the CEO and Sales & Marketing teams to deploy the go-to-market strategy
Develop a solution that fits with the client’s needs, using pre-structured pricing and package modules as well as including an assessment of any pre-existing implementations
Develop all aspects of proposals and present to potential partners
Spearhead term sheet and contract completion, through signature
Oversee partner success, including working closely to refine program to develop retained accounts
Focus on long-term relationship building
QUALIFICATIONS Ideal candidates will demonstrate successful experience with theresponsibilities detailed above, and will possess many if not all of thefollowing important traits:
Entrepreneurial spirit absolutely necessary to help build this new initiative inside of a successful business
4 -10 years in sales or business development, with a specific focus on understanding both research and marketing digital toolsets
A successful track record of selling within the new media or social networking space
A hunger to succeed and the ability/desire to break down doors
The ability and flexibility to sell either inside or face-to-face, while managing complex sales cycle
Beyond stellar communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent creative proposal development capabilities
Excellent organizational ability with great attention to detail
Strong team player with experience collaborating across multiple teams
