      Job Description Cantina Consulting is looking for a senior consultant to interactwith a variety of clients on strategic and high-impact software solutions. Youshould enjoy working with small teams of developers and should also enjoyusing “the right tool for the right job”, as we are nottied to any specific technology. Should be a passionate generalistwith a broad range of programming skills and enjoy switching betweenvarious programming projects. We’re looking for someone who canramp up quickly, regardless of the chosen technology, and deliver.

In addition, we’re often faced with tasks that go beyondtechnical discipline, to involve much broader aspects of consultingincluding project and client relationship management, project scopingand interacting directly with the client.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, reliable web application architectures subject to client technical requirements using best of breed technologies

  • Provide recommendations on feature set and technical infrastructure for client products and sites

  • User experience design, including wireframes, storyboards, and use cases is a plus

  • Find opportunities to take advantage of existing platforms or communities to extend the reach of our clients

  • Create detailed estimates, proposals, RFPs, project plans, etc.

  • Reach “rock-star” status with our clients through communication, risk handling, and great delivery

  • On-site and off site client work and meetings

Must Haves
  • Ready and willing to ramp up on the “right tool for the right job”

  • Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Be motivated to work independently and over-deliver

  • Communicate early and often with clients, know how to look for project issues
