Getting Started

Since April 2007, Technology Review has made all articles available as text-to-speech (T2S) podcasts, which offer a convenient, portable option for the executive who expects content at his or her convenience. All podcasts are available as Flash or MP3 downloads for the audio player of your choice. See for yourself; just follow the steps below.

To listen to an article in your browser (Flash):
Select "Listen - Flash." If you have the flash player installed, the audio file will load and play directly in your browser.

To listen to an article in MP3 format:
Select "Listen - MP3" The MP3 file will play using your browsers default helper application. You can right click (CTRL-click on a Macintosh) to save the MP3 file to your computer if you prefer.

To subscribe to a podcast:
Select an Audio Podcast from the list on the right, or visit our RSS page here: www.technologyreview.com/corp/rss.aspx.
Once podcasting software is downloaded and installed, simply click on the appropriate icon to subscribe to any Technology Review podcast feed. The podcasting software will automatically check for updates and download the files to your computer so you can load them onto your MP3 player.
